At The Group, exclusivity and discretion have always been hallmarks of our community. We are a private collective of like minded professionals who value privacy, quality, and meaningful relationships. Membership has never been something that can simply be purchased or requested. Instead, it is a journey that begins with a shared experience and unfolds naturally over time.
For most members, that journey begins with one of our signature gateway experiences: The Table, Jackets Required, or Stiletto Social. Others may be introduced directly by an existing Full Member. However someone arrives, every journey begins in much the same way: by spending time together, getting to know one another, and discovering whether The Group feels like the right fit.
Our introductory experiences are carefully curated to welcome prospective members into our community. While selective, they are open by invitation to non members, guests of members, and existing members, providing a rare opportunity to experience the culture and character of The Group firsthand.
Each gathering has its own personality, but they all exist for the same reason. They create an environment where remarkable people can meet naturally, conversations can develop without pressure, and genuine relationships have an opportunity to begin. We have found that when people share exceptional experiences together, compatibility reveals itself far more naturally than any interview or application process ever could.
Formerly known as Just For Dinner, The Table is an elegant evening centered on conversation, connection, and exceptional dining. Hosted in the private dining room of one of the finest restaurants in each city, these evenings bring together a carefully curated group of guests to enjoy outstanding cuisine, thoughtfully selected wines, and, most importantly, one another’s company.
While exceptional food and wine certainly matter, the dinner itself has never been the destination. The table is simply the setting. What people remember years later are the conversations, the friendships that began there, and the quiet realization that they may have found the community they had been searching for all along.
Jackets Required embodies the timeless charm of a classic cocktail party. Guests gather for an evening of conversation, cocktails, and culture in an atmosphere that is refined without being formal. Although the evening often begins with relaxed conversation, it has occasionally evolved into an unforgettable celebration that continues well into the night. Like every gateway experience, its purpose is not simply to host a memorable evening, but to create an environment where genuine friendships can begin naturally.
Stiletto Social offers women an opportunity to enjoy the company of other women in an atmosphere that is welcoming, sophisticated, and relaxed. Designed to encourage authentic friendships and meaningful connections, these evenings celebrate individuality while providing a space where women can simply enjoy being together. Because many of the women attending are already members of The Group, Stiletto Social has become one of the most natural introductions to our community.
Your first experience with The Group is exactly that: a beginning. Whether it takes place at The Table, Jackets Required, Stiletto Social, or through the introduction of a trusted Full Member, it marks the first chapter in what may become a much longer journey.
Those who wish to continue are welcomed as Provisional Members, a period intentionally designed to allow relationships to develop naturally through additional dinners, parties, and shared experiences. During this time, members receive limited access to The Group App, not because we wish to limit participation, but because we believe the strongest relationships are built through shared experiences before technology ever introduces two people. The App exists to strengthen an existing community, not to replace one.
As a Provisional Member, you’ll have opportunities to attend additional experiences, culminating in your first multi day weekend, most often at The Resort in Negril, Jamaica. It is during these extended gatherings that acquaintances often become close friends and members gain a deeper understanding of both the community and one another.
Following a Provisional Member’s first multi day experience, Full Membership is considered by the Full Members who shared that experience. We believe the people who know the community best should help shape its future, and that philosophy has guided The Group from the very beginning.
Membership is never granted automatically, nor is it earned simply by attending a certain number of events. Instead, it grows from shared experiences, mutual trust, and the confidence that someone will strengthen the community for years to come. The process is intentionally thoughtful because the community itself is worth protecting.
Full Membership certainly brings meaningful privileges, including unrestricted access to The Group App, invitations to our most intimate experiences, and access to The Resort. Yet those benefits are not the reason people remain involved. Over the years, we have discovered that many of our members came looking for the lifestyle. They stayed because they found the community.
