Understanding the Subtle Differences Between The Resort Membership Tiers

At The Resort, we offer a variety of membership tiers to suit the diverse needs and preferences of our guests. Each membership level is carefully designed to provide a unique blend of privileges and services, ensuring that every member enjoys their time at the resort to the fullest. Whether you’re a frequent visitor or seeking exclusive access, there’s a membership tier that aligns perfectly with your lifestyle.

At the same time, these membership tiers are not meant to subdivide the group or elevate the experience level of one segment above another. Instead, the goal is to provide all members with the same level of service, room options, and access to membership tiers. The variation in these tiers is directly tied to how many guests a member may invite and if it makes sense for that member to secure a longer booking window at the resort. In all instances, there is no variation in service or access.

1. Resort Membership

The standard Resort Membership is available for $2,500 per year per couple, with adjusted rates for singles ($1,250) and throuples ($3,750). This membership offers an excellent balance of value and amenities, making it a popular choice among our guests. Resort Members staying for at least four nights benefit from complimentary arrival service and ground transportation, ensuring a seamless start to their vacation.

Additionally, Resort Members can invite up to two guests to stay on the property with them. To enhance convenience, members can request that any clothes, personal items, or sporting goods be safely stored at the resort until their next visit.

2. Junior Membership

For members under 37 years of age, we offer the Junior Membership, which includes all the benefits of the standard Resort Membership at a reduced rate of $1,250 per year. This rate remains in place until the member reaches 37, at which point the annual fee increases to $2,500. Junior Memberships are an excellent option for younger couples or individuals looking to enjoy the full range of resort amenities at a more accessible price.

3. Villa Membership

The Villa Membership is ideal for those who desire priority access to our exclusive on-site villas. Priced at $3,500 per year, this membership includes all the benefits of a standard Resort Membership, with several additional perks. Villa Members can invite up to four guests to join them on the property, doubling the guest allowance of standard members.

Moreover, Villa Members enjoy an earlier booking window for villa reservations, from two weeks to 90 days before regular or Junior Members can access the same units. While available to all Group Members for members aged 50 and over, Villa Membership is required, ensuring that they can secure their preferred accommodations during peak times.

4. Equity Membership

Equity Members have financially invested in The Group’s acquisition of The Resort. This membership tier offers the highest level of exclusivity and access. Equity Members enjoy the longest and most exclusive booking window, ensuring they have the first choice of accommodations (they helped pay for). They can also invite up to eight guests to join them on the property, making this an ideal option for those who wish to share the resort experience with a larger group of friends.

5. Premier Membership

Premier Membership is designed for individuals who could not invest in The Resort during its acquisition but wish to enjoy the same privileges as Equity Members. For $12,000 per year, Premier Members receive the same extensive booking windows, guest allowances, and exclusive access to resort amenities as Equity Members. Premier Members are also positioned to participate in any future private placements that The Group may offer, providing them with opportunities to invest in upcoming projects.

How This Applies to Existing Prospective, Provisional, and Full Members of The Group

The Resort’s membership tiers are closely tied to the status of Prospective, Provisional, and Full Members of The Group, each with different access rights and membership options.

1. Prospective Members

Prospective Members may not visit the resort independently. However, they can experience The Resort if they travel as guests of a Resort, Villa, Equity, Premier Member or Full Member. This allows them to experience the resort before further pursuing membership in The Group or The Resort.

2. Provisional Members

Provisional Members are granted one-time access to The Resort, subject to the non-member room rate. By remitting the corresponding annual membership fee, they can elevate their status by becoming a Resort, Villa, or Premier Member. However, confirmation as a Full Member can only be conferred after they have spent a minimum of four consecutive nights at the resort.

3. Full Members

Full Members enjoy more flexible access to the resort. They may visit once per year at the higher non-member room rate, or they can choose to upgrade to Resort, Villa, or Premier Membership by paying the corresponding annual membership fee. Full Members can also bring two guests to join them at the resort, with their guests subject to the non-member room rate.

***Exclusions: Those previously barred from membership in The Group are not welcome to visit The Resort as a member’s guest, regardless of their membership tier.

Conclusion

The Resort offers a range of membership options to cater to different preferences, lifestyles, and financial commitments. Whether you’re looking for standard access, priority booking, or exclusive investor privileges, there’s a membership tier designed to meet your needs. Understanding these subtle differences ensures you can choose the membership that best aligns with your expectations and enhances your experience at The Resort.
