The Privacy Equation: Why The Resort Feels Different
In luxury hospitality, five stars aren’t a mystery. They’re the sum of fit, finish, and service—the details you can see and the hundreds you don’t—delivered with consistency. Think Aman’s hush of perfection, Four Seasons’ effortless precision, Rosewood’s residential ease, Auberge’s sense of place, Belmond’s romance. A great property balances craft (materials, design, lighting, acoustics), care (anticipatory service), and context (culinary, culture, setting).
Now add the one ingredient most brands can’t control: the people you share it with.
That’s where The Group and The Resort diverge from “luxury as usual.” We built a private, member-owned, consent-forward sanctuary where the company is as considered as the cuisine, and where your visit has the same editorial rigor as the room you sleep in. There are no walk-ins, no day passes, no lobby crowds, no public nudity, just a guest list designed for accomplished, open-minded professionals who prefer elegance over spectacle and conversation over noise.
What “Five-star” means here
- Fit & finish: Ocean-view villas, tactile materials, proper acoustics (music that knows when to recede), lighting that flatters faces rather than furniture, and details that feel inevitable rather than flashy.
- Service: Proactive, discreet, and personal—airport meet at the jetway, transfers synced to your flight, your style of coffee remembered, turndown that removes friction instead of performing it.
- Culture: Consent is explicit, privacy is default, introductions are curated, and the pace is intentional. Your weekend breathes.
The People are The Point
We don’t leave chemistry to chance. A weekend rises or falls on who is in the room. That’s why The Group’s community is hand-built through three gateway experiences for those who don’t already know a Member willing to host them as a guest:
- Just For Dinner — A refined, hosted dinner where conversation leads and the vibe is dress-up, not dress-code. Think smart, sensual, socially fluent.
- Jackets Required — A high-energy, under-40 social with a modern, sexy edge; curated guest list, tight door, big smiles.
- Stiletto Social — Women-led, women-centric; space to connect, compare notes, and step into the community on your terms.
Each gateway is deliberately small, personal, and (dare we say) fun. It’s how we learn your pace, your preferences, and whether this is your crowd. No endless forms, no awkward interrogations—just real hosts who care about fit.
Booking an Event vs. Booking à la carte at The Resort
- Event Weekends (e.g., New Year’s Eve with Maxi Priest, Valentine’s in Paradise, etc.): You’ll feel the full editorial arc -poolside sets, chef-driven dinners, on-premises after parties, and hosts who make thoughtful introductions. Availability is prioritized for Equity Members and their guests; select rooms are available to Provisional Members who have successfully attended a gateway evening.
- À la carte stays: Perfect if you simply want time to make uncomplicated choices like morning swims, spa, long lunches, and unhurried evenings. The same privacy and standards apply. A quick conversation with Member Services ensures the dates align with community programming and your goals for the stay.
Either way, Member Services begins before you arrive; reaching out to tune transfers, room touches, dining, and tempo. If you’re already planning to return, our Island Closet program will inventory, launder/press, handle minor repairs, and securely store the clothing and toiletries you leave—complimentary for qualified members—so your wardrobe is waiting in your villa next time.
How to take the next step
- Already know a Member? Ask them to host you as a guest at The Resort or at an upcoming dinner.
- New to The Group? Request an invitation to Just For Dinner, Jackets Required, or Stiletto Social. One beautiful evening tells us—mutually—what an application never could.
- Ready to book rooms? Equity, Full, and Provisional Members can book directly in The App, and can also see which of their friends are already confirmed for those dates.
If you’ve been searching for a lifestyle experience with the craft of a world-class hotel and the caliber of guests you actually want to spend time with, welcome. This is luxury that remembers your name and introduces you to people you’ll want to remember.
