In our last newsletter, we put out a call—seeking the expertise of our members to help shape the future of The Resort. The response has been nothing short of extraordinary.
We have been contacted by architects, landscape architects, commercial designers, interior decorators, civil and structural engineers, and renewable energy experts—all with remarkable credentials and decades of experience in their respective fields. These members aren’t just offering advice; they are stepping forward, eager to contribute their knowledge and skills to help create something truly exceptional.
But this shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Group is unlike any other lifestyle community. While other communities exist to serve their members, we build together—supporting not only each other but also the collective vision of what we can create as a community. Our members don’t just attend events; they shape them. They don’t just enjoy beautiful spaces; they help design them. This culture of collaboration, contribution, and shared excellence is what sets us apart.
A History of Coming Together
This isn’t the first time The Group has come together to build something truly special.
Ten years ago, we first came together to design what became our legendary Burning Man camp—a project that blended ingenuity, passion, and expertise into an unforgettable experience. What started as an ambitious vision became a fully realized community where art, design, and hospitality seamlessly merged. It was a defining moment, proving what could be accomplished when extraordinary people work toward a shared goal.
Then, following the upheaval of COVID-19, The Group came together again—this time to launch its next major project: the acquisition and operation of a private 100′ yacht. Once again, members pooled their expertise, connections, and resources to create something that didn’t exist anywhere else—a luxury floating retreat, uniquely tailored to the needs and desires of our open lifestyle community.
From there, our vision for the future began to grow. One of our esteemed members—an expert in commercial real estate transactions \—took the lead in drafting a Private Placement Memorandum, laying the groundwork for what came next. This meticulous planning led to the acquisition of a private estate in Jamaica, a breathtaking property that planted the seed for an idea that later grew into what is now The Resort.

The Resort represents a pivotal moment in the evolution of The Group, marking the transition from a virtual country club to one with its first physical clubhouse on the shores of Jamaica. What began as a dynamic community connected by shared values and curated experiences has now taken a bold step forward—establishing a tangible retreat that reflects our collective vision. No longer just a network of like-minded individuals gathering around the world, The Group now has a home base—a place where members can come together, not just for events, but to shape, refine, and elevate the lifestyle we have built over the past decade. The Resort isn’t just a destination; it’s a testament to how far we’ve come and the foundation for what’s next.
