Arrival to Havana. (pending flight information) Upon arrival, meet your CET guide at the exit of the terminal and transfer to Lodging. On the way, we will do orientation talk: overview of the agenda, discussion about local transportation, nearby markets, internet access and other logistics, safety, cultural norms and current events in Cuba.
Mid-afternoon Check-in at the Hotel Nacional (executive level),the home to many important dignitaries during their visits to Cuba and the site of annual Mafia meetings throughout the 1950s. The beautiful grounds are unbeatable and take you back in time.
Dinner, at a modern, family run paladar in the Vedado neighborhood. This cozy paladar produces much of what it serves at a nearby farm in Guanabacoa Cuba, including the vegetables and dairy products.

Salsa Night at Salon Turquino, located on the top floor of the Habana Libre Hotel in Vedado, this popular restaurant and nightclub has one of the most impressive views of the city. Every Wednesday, it offers a unique opportunity to learn new salsa techniques side-by-side with Cuban dancers.

Walking tour of Old Havana’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982. Wander through the Plaza de Armas, a scenic tree-lined plaza formerly at the center of influence in Cuba. It is surrounded by many of the most historic structures in Havana as well as important monuments. See the Plaza de San Francisco, a cobbled plaza surrounded by buildings dating from the 18th century, dominated by the baroque Iglesia and Convento de San Francisco dating from 1719. Visit the Plaza Vieja, surrounded by sumptuous houses of the Havana aristocracy from the 18th and 19th centuries. Visit Plaza de la Catedral de San Cristóbal de La Habana.
Lunch San Cristobal. Located in the heart of Central Havana, this paladar has a reputation of excellence in both atmosphere and local cuisine. Enjoy great food while the local takes you back to the 1940s and 50s.
Visit the studio of Mabel Poblet, one of Cuba’s most exciting new artists. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts (the famous San Alejandro School) with highest honors and quickly became a great and well known artist. Her work is intensely personal, precise and carefully crafted.

Dinner reservation at La Guarida paladar, definitely the most romantic restaurant we have found in Havanan and the perfect location for Valentine’s dinner with your sweetheart and (and all your lifestyle friends). This wonderful paladar is famous not only for its delectable dining, but also as the location for the film Strawberry and Chocolate. It is housed on the third floor of a large, old town house carrying the charming ambience of the early 1900s.

Visit the home of Roberto Salas, in 2016 during our first visit to Cuba, we set our sites on meeting the most the most “connected” person we could manage, as well as spending time with people who led an “average” day-to-day life in Cuba. IT was during this first visit that we met Roberto and had the privilege of meeting with him in his home. As one of Cuba’s most successful photographers. Salas has
documented the stories of Cuba, the saga of its revolution and the life of its enigmatic leader. His work is extraordinary for its perspective and its breadth. It is with great pride that we have been invited back into his home, and have the opourtunityto to introduce you to this extraordinary photographer.

Explore Miramar neighborhood, a residential district of the municipality of Playa, where many embassies are located including the landmark Russian embassy. Drive along the famous Quinta Avenida (Fifth Avenue) and see the mansions that used to belong to many of Havana’s upscale residents prior to the Revolution.
Visit to the home and studio of plastic artist Fuster, who has converted his neighborhood into an art project featuring murals, plastic art and other designs.
Visit 331 Art Space and meet artists Frank, Adrian and Alex, three up-and-coming artists, about the growing art scene in Cuba, and how young artists are mixing their art training and talent with business skills to create profitable enterprises.
Dinner reservation at Tierra, Havana’s newest international dinning spot. Located inside a container in the Fábrica de Arte Cubano, the restaurant mirrors the eclectic crowd, serving dishes from around the world. Calle 26, between Calle 11 and 13, Vedado (meal not included)
Following dinner, enjoy live music, art and dancing at La Fábrica de Arte Cubano. Rock star X Alfonso has turned this into meeting spot for a young, eclectic crowd of Cubans and foreigners.
Saturday, Feb 16
Mojito making demonstration followed by lunch at Al Carbon paladar. Created by the owners of the immensely popular Iván y Justo, this new restaurant strikes out in a different but equally successful direction, specializing in traditional Cuban dishes cooked over charcoal.
Complimentary Transportation to explore Havana on your own, from 12 pm until the dinner party.
Sunset cocktails and private performance by Cimafunk at the Estate. Cimafunk is a signer, composer and music producer and one of the most singular emerging artists in Cuba. His music is an original fusion of funk, Cuban music and African rhythms, whose lyrics come directly from the streets.
